Het liedje de Cave gaat over een persoon die van zijn problemen weg loopt en geen eten meer over heeft. En dan is er een andere persoon die weet hoe het voelt en hij zegt dat hij niet ophoudt met hopen voor hem. En dat hij hem zal steunen tijdens zijn strijd. En hij zegt dat hij andere tijd heeft te besteden dan hem. En dan zegt hij dat de tijd zijn gedachten opnieuw hersteld. Hij zegt kom uit je cave ook wel je grot en trek de wijden wereld in.
